For generations, responsible use of materials, respect for people and care for the environment have been integral to Barnickel. Our upholstered furniture is made exclusively in Germany using durable materials, short supply routes and a strong regional network.

• Complete production in East Westphalia – no imported furniture from Eastern Europe or Asia!
• The wood used for our frames comes from sustainably managed German forests.
• Solid wood and high-quality materials ensure durable upholstered furniture.
• Many of our pieces can be reupholstered or refurbished later in their life.
• More than 90% of our supplied components are sourced regionally.
• Our own logistics operation reduces unnecessary transport packaging.

Fair Partnerships and Local Employment

We value long-term, fair relationships with both suppliers and employees. Production takes place exclusively in Germany, and many components come from companies within approximately 100 kilometres of our factory.

Engagement in unserer Region

As a family business, we feel closely connected to our local community. We support local kindergartens, schools, churches and care facilities through donations and practical involvement. Since 1922, we have also trained upholsterers, investing in the next generation of our craft.
