Our website is hosted by IONOS. When you access our website, the web server processes technical data required to provide the site. This may include your IP address, date and time of access, the page or file requested, referrer URL, browser type, browser version and operating system used.
This processing is necessary to provide the website technically, ensure the stability and security of the service and allow technical errors to be traced. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of our website.
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can usually recognise an encrypted connection by the padlock symbol in your browser and by the website address beginning with “https://”.
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide in order to handle and respond to your enquiry.
The legal basis depends on the nature of the enquiry. If contact is made in order to initiate or perform a contract, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In other cases, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to process and respond to enquiries.
If you use our contact form, we process the data entered there in order to handle and respond to your enquiry. This includes, in particular, your name, email address, telephone number where provided, the selected area of interest and your message.
For the technical transmission of the contact form, we use the DWFormmailer service. Data entered in the form is processed by the service for transmission to us. The service is operated by Wolfgang Dürr, In den Kehlen 4, 97342 Marktsteft, Germany. A data-processing agreement is in place with the service provider.
Processing is carried out in order to deal with your enquiry. Where the enquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR is the legal basis. Otherwise, processing is based on our legitimate interest in handling contact enquiries pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Data submitted via the contact form is generally retained only for as long as necessary to process the enquiry. After correspondence has concluded, the data will be deleted no later than 180 days afterwards unless statutory retention obligations apply or further processing is required in connection with a contractual or business relationship.
On certain pages of our website, we provide a preview for Google Maps. Merely opening the relevant page does not automatically load Google Maps. A connection to Google is established only when you deliberately activate the map function or use the relevant link or button.
After activation, data – in particular your IP address and information about the device and browser used – may be transmitted to Google. Processing of data outside the European Union or European Economic Area cannot be ruled out.
The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Further information about the processing of personal data can be found in Google’s privacy information.
On certain pages we offer videos from YouTube. The videos are not loaded automatically from YouTube when our page is opened. Instead, a preview or placeholder is initially displayed. A connection to YouTube is established only when you deliberately activate the video.
After activation, personal data – in particular your IP address, browser and device information and information about the page viewed – may be transmitted to YouTube or Google. If you are signed in to a Google account at the same time, Google may be able to associate your use with that account.
The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Further information about the processing of personal data can be found in Google’s privacy information.
We advertise our website using Google Ads. Based on the current technical configuration of our website, no separate Google Ads conversion-tracking or remarketing tag is embedded in the website files we have reviewed. However, clicking an advertisement placed on Google may be processed by Google as part of its service.
If we use conversion tracking, remarketing or comparable tracking technologies on our website in future, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly and, where required, obtain consent before activation.
Based on the current configuration, we do not use analytics or marketing cookies from Google Analytics, etracker, Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest on this website. External content such as Google Maps and YouTube is not loaded automatically when a page is opened, as described above, but only after deliberate activation by the visitor.
Technically necessary cookies or comparable technologies may be used where required for the operation and security of the website.
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have in particular the right to obtain information about personal data stored about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure, to restrict processing and to data portability.
Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you also have the right to object to processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal remains unaffected.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR.
We update this Privacy Policy if our website, the services used or the legal requirements change.
